Dr. V. K. Shah is an interventional cardiologist at Wockhardt Heart Hospital. He has done his entire education from Mumbai and has passed his D.M. Cardiology in 1984 from Sion Hospital. He has more than 50 publications in both national and international journals and more than 30 research papers. He has been extensively trained in interventional cardiology in USA & France. He is recipient of Gold Medal for his pioneering research work in thrombolytic therapy in acute Myocardial Infarction, which was done for the first time in this country. He is also the recipient of Prof. D. P. Basu Award in Cardiology.
